ENVIROQUIP LABORATORY SERVICES

Enviroquip has laboratory facilities for testing dewatering characteristics of sludges.

Laboratory services are intended to confirm equipment is suitable for the specified dewatering application prior to bidding. Laboratory testing is also used to determine if sludge or other material is a good candidate for thickening or dewatering using Enviroquip products.

Typical information provided by laboratory testing includes the following:

• Polymer type and dose required for flocculation
• Drainage rate for determining hydraulic throughput, gpm
• Solids content of thickened solids or cake, % solids
• Throughput of solids in pounds of dry solids per hour
• Capture rate or machine efficiency in removing solids

The above information is then used to recommend equipment type and size to best suit the owner’s needs.

Special handling of sludge samples is required for shipping purposes and to insure sample quality.
